Despite vast landscapes that seem unspoiled, Nunavut is not immune to the ills of the rest of the planet. Beneath the immaculate layer of snow, there are mountains of trash of all sorts. Iqaluit's two dumps are filled beyond capacity and the municipality has no plan to solve the problem. Some concerned citizens have decided to act. Through the story and the characters' commentary, we discover the special problems of this isolated region and just how serious the situation is. But, above all, we hear a call to action from these residents, who don't want to see the North they love disappear. This short documentary was produced as part of the Tremplin competition, which enables young French Canadians living outside Quebec to put together their first film in a professional environment.
