A tongue-in-cheek mystery, told through a series of vignettes and letters, considers the experiences of the famous departed residents of Paris's Pere-Lachaise Cemetery--reincarnated as stray cats--as they partake in long-standing quarrels, romantic liaisons, and character assassinations.
