Show 1: The story of the Northern Ontario Ojibway community of Pic Mobert First Nation and their 1300 kilometer journey to reawaken spirituality and culture and return to traditional ways, in order to help those suffering from addiction. Show 2: Documents the powerful story of a culture reclaimed, through the eyes of one man and one family. . Show 3: Juan Flores, an Ashanincan healer from the Peruvian Amazon and Dave Courchene, an Anishenabe elder from Sagkeeng, Manitoba, are two people on a mission. The condor and the eagle soar together once again when Juan, Dave and other elders and healers visit Manito Ahbee in the Whiteshell Provincial Park for Igniting the Fire, a gathering where leders give direction for the future and where a sacred fire will be lit. Show 4: In Albequerque, New Mexico, forty young women came together to represent their communities in what can be described as a non-competitive pageant. Show 5: Presents the story of an Aboriginal archaeologist, Kevin Brownlee, from the Manitoba Museum, whose current focus is determining where and how the early inhabitants of Northern Manitoba lived. Show 6: Examines the effects of incarceration on women and children, and what one organization is doing to help heal families. Show 7: The story of Blizzard, an all-white buffalo calf who now resides in the Winnipeg Zoo. Show 8: Looks at both the Wounded Knee and Oka crises, as well as various aspects of the participants in these events. Show 9: A profile of Aboriginal chefs in three distinct environments, from the mean streets of Winnipeg to haute cuisine. Show 10: Follows students who have all spent several years in the intensive Aboriginal Governance program at the University of Winnipeg, which teaches them, among other things, about aboriginal politics, conflict resolution and self-government. Show 11:Looks at the use of tobacco in both traditional ceremonies and recreational settings. Show 12: Follows two groups of athletes competing in both the Inuit and Dene Games, showing their cultural significance while revealing the skill and agility required to compete in these events. Show 13: Reveals how and why Canada gets a failing grade when it comes to improving the quality of life for Aboriginal Canadians.
