This report presents the findings of the evaluation of the Literacy and Essential Skills Program. The Literacy and Essential Skills Program (hereafter, "the Program") aims to help adult Canadians improve their essential skills levels to ultimately be successful in the labour market. The Program provides funding through the Adult Learning, Literacy, and Essential Skills Program and the National Essential Skills Initiative, which are 2 grants and contributions program streams, collectively run under the Program.
