This video demonstrates the need for mixing air and gasoline in the correct proportions to make an efficient fuel for the engine. A simple carburettor is used to show the function of the venturi tube, float chamber and throttle valve. The working of the variable jet carburettor is also shown, and the film touches on the fuel injection and multiple carburettors as used in high-performance cars.
