The safety procedures explained in this presentation can prevent most, if not all, farm equipment accidents. The presentation will educate the operator on safety techniques for many pieces of equipment, such as tractors, fuel storage, hydraulics equipment and PTOs. An instructor of agricultural education will discuss proper safety procedures and personal accounts of how these measures can save lives. Interviews with farmers, fire and rescue officials and other safety experts are included to teach the importance and need for farm equipment safety education.
