Places not our own -- The story of the struggle of a Metis family to cope with the changes caused by the coming of the railway and new settlers who now own the land the Metis used to call home. It is set in Manitoba in the year 1929. Wake -- It shows the many social problems encountered by the Metis including a separateness defined by racial origin and economics. It is set in the 1980's.
