"In summary, over half of Canadians reported experiencing only non-physical maltreatment or both physical and non-physical maltreatment before the age of 15. These results indicate that the measurement of non-physical types of maltreatment is important for obtaining a more comprehensive understanding of child maltreatment in Canada.
